Plans, quotas & boosters
How Yokaify plans, monthly quotas, and booster packs work — and what happens when you hit a limit.
How quotas work
Your plan includes a monthly allowance of AI replies (chat messages answered by the AI) and assists (proactive interventions). Current usage is always visible under Settings → Plan. Bot traffic is filtered before it counts against your quota.
For current plan pricing and tier contents, see the pricing page — it's generated from the same source of truth as billing, so it's never out of date.
What happens at the limit
Nothing breaks, ever:
- AI replies exhausted — the mascot stops using AI answers and falls back to graceful non-AI behavior until your month resets, you upgrade, or you add a booster.
- Assists exhausted — proactive interventions pause; reactive chat keeps working within its own quota.
Booster packs
Mid-month spike — a sale, a press mention? Booster packs add extra AI replies or assists to the current month as a one-time purchase, live immediately, no plan change. Buy them under Settings → Plan.
Plan-gated features
Some capabilities are tied to tiers (see pricing for the authoritative list):
- Free — reactive chat with a small quota, marketplace mascots, grounded answers.
- Paid tiers add proactive assists, manual knowledge, sentiment scoring, returning-visitor memory, privacy controls, branding removal, and (from Growth) lead capture.
- Custom mascot — a bespoke animated character is a one-time add-on available on any paid plan.
Billing
Receipts, plan changes, and cancellation are self-serve under Settings → Plan. Cancelling keeps full access until the end of the paid period, then drops to Free limits — nothing is deleted.
