How Yokaify answers questions using only your content — and why it won't make things up.
Grounded in your content
When the mascot answers, it first retrieves the most relevant pieces of your knowledge base and bases its reply on them. That means it talks about your shipping policy, your sizing, and your products — not a generic guess.
Hybrid retrieval
Yokaify combines semantic search (matching on meaning) with keyword search (matching exact terms), then re-ranks the results so the best context reaches the model. This handles both vague questions and exact product or policy names.
Honest by default
- If the knowledge base doesn't cover something, Yokaify says so instead of inventing an answer — and can capture a lead so you can follow up.
- Replies are streamed, so the shopper sees an answer forming immediately.
- The system is hardened against prompt-injection attempts hidden in page content or user messages.
