The two ways Yokaify learns about your store — automatic page crawling and manual knowledge entries.

1. Crawl your site

Point Yokaify at your store and it will fetch your pages, extract the meaningful text, and split it into searchable passages. This is the fastest way to give the mascot broad coverage of your products and policies.

Re-crawl whenever your site changes substantially so answers stay accurate.

2. Add manual knowledge

For the facts you care about most — shipping timelines, return windows, sizing guidance, warranty terms — add them directly as manual knowledge entries. These are authoritative and are the best way to guarantee a precise answer to a common question.

What's supported today

Knowledge currently comes from web pages and manual text entries. Direct file uploads (PDFs, spreadsheets) and importing question-and-answer pairs from another tool aren't available yet — for now, paste the key facts as manual entries.

Getting good answers

  • Cover the top objections: shipping, returns, sizing, stock, payment.
  • Keep policies current; outdated text leads to confident-but-wrong answers.
  • Be specific — concrete facts retrieve and answer far better than vague marketing copy.
