Control exactly what the mascot knows: crawled pages, manual Q&A entries, the Ask AI tester, and automatic re-syncs.

Crawled pages

Point Yokaify at your site and it crawls your pages into the knowledge base. Under Knowledge → Pages you can see every crawled page, when it was last synced, and enable or disable individual pages — disabled pages are never used in answers.

  • Automatic re-sync: your site is re-scanned on a regular cadence so answers stay current when you change a shipping policy or product page. Sync completions (and failures) appear in the notification feed.
  • Scope control: only what you point it at gets crawled. The mascot answers from this content and nothing else — see answers & grounding.

Manual knowledge entries

Some facts aren't on any page — holiday shipping cutoffs, wholesale terms, "do you ship to X?". Add these as manual entries: short Q&A-style snippets the mascot uses alongside crawled content. Manual entries are live in answers immediately after saving, which makes them the fastest fix when you spot a bad answer in the Inbox.

Test before your visitors do

Ask AI is a private tester inside the dashboard: type any question a visitor might ask and see exactly how the mascot would answer with the current knowledge. Use it after every significant content change.

The improvement loop

  1. Read Inbox conversations where the mascot struggled.
  2. Add or fix the knowledge (manual entry for speed, page content for permanence).
  3. Verify in Ask AI.
